Art In The Afternoon

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26
Two Sessions:  2pm and 3pm at Fort Concho Quartermaster Building

Join us for a fun and FREE afternoon of painting and immersion in the arts!
Children ages 5 to 14 are welcome.

Each session starts with an 'ART WALK' in the Quartermaster Building for the kids to view the 68 Competition Paintings turned in by the 34 Artists who have painted our West Texas scenery.  Everyone gets to VOTE for their favorite.   Sunday at 1pm, the winning painting will be announced and given the "Stray Calf Award" - an award for the one painting everyone felt deserved an award but somehow got 'lost' and did not get one!  

COME & PAINT!
Painting supplies are provided for the children to sit afterwards and paint in the exhibit hall ~ inspired by any painting on the wall they like!  Local artists and some of our EPAT Artists will offer help and encouragement.  Each child will take home their painting inspired by our West Texas scenery on the walls, and in a frame compliments of JFM Frames!

Chick-Fil-A of San Angelo is offering a Free Kids Meal gift card for every child and a Free Chick-Fil-A entree gift card for each parent.

Parents may join in if space allows and are welcome to wander in the exhibit areas as their children paint or watch portrait demos in the area by some of the 2019 Competition Artists.
