The Cultural Affairs Council is pleased to be a part of the San Angelo Performing Arts Coalition, a partnership between Angelo Civic Theatre (the state's longest running), the San Angelo Civic Ballet, and the San Angelo Symphony. The new Performing Arts Cneter will act as an anchor for the performing arts complimenting our Museum of Fine Arts (visual arts and education) and the new Stephens Central Library (housing the literary arts). This is an idea whose time and purpose has come. The community at large can expect enhanced quality and synergy in performing arts programming while the member entities enjoy greater operating efficiencies allowing greater focus on creating art!
